Testing

NOTE:  As per ID Homeschool Law (Idaho Code § 33-202),  there is currently no requirement for annual standardized testing.  That being said, you may find it helpful to do testing through Idaho Coalition of Home Educators (ICHE).  Test scores done through ICHE benefit the homeschool community by showing ICHE scores compared to national public school scores.

ANNUAL STANDARDIZED TESTING OFFERED

THROUGH ICHE

Fees for testing are included as part of your annual membership dues.  When signing up for membership, be sure to indicate the number of students you will want IOWA testing for, and at some point you will enter the student data.  Tests are given by regions and overseen by regional coordinators.  You will be sent paperwork when testing is near.  The CdA region (2) test is usually administered in March each year.
