NIHEA Homeschool Student Rates:
$4.50 (including tax) per child and includes FREE quad rental
$20 (including tax) per immediate family of 5+ children and
includes FREE quad rental
$2 extra (including tax) for inline skates
NIHEA Parent Rates:
$0 for meeting only
$1.75 (including tax) for quad skates
$3.75 (including tax) for inline skates
NOTE: NIHEA is already receiving a discounted session, so no other passes or discount coupons will be
accepted. No strollers are allowed on the floor at any time. Admission must be paid for all skates brought
into the facility. No outside food/drink is allowed.

2018 Spelling Bee (Annual)

IMPORTANT DATES FOR 2018: REGISTRATION DEADLINE: NOV. 15, 2017
Homeschool MOCK Spelling Bee -10am-12pm on Saturday, January 20, 2018
North Idaho Homeschool District Spelling Bee - 10am-12pm on Saturday, January 27, 2018
Hosted at Grace Bible Church, Hayden, ID (on Prairie between Hwy 95 & Gov’t Way)

If your student would like to participate in this year’s 2016 NIHEA Spelling Bee and/or the mock spelling bee simply email by the deadline and include the following:

1) Student’s Name,
2) Student’s grade level (4th-8th)
3) Parent or Guardian’s Name
4) Mailing Address
5) Phone number
6) Email Address
7) Name of their Participating Home School Association
8) If they'll attend the Mock Spelling Bee (Sat., Jan. 20, 2018)

Five winners from each grade will proceed to the N. ID Regional Spelling Bee -
9am on Saturday, March 17, 2018 - N ID College.
​
The winner of the Regional Bee will receive an all-expense paid trip to
Washington, DC with a family member courtesy of the CdA Press, and will be
competing for up to $40,000 in prizes at the end of May 2017.

Silver Mountain Homeschool Ski Program (Annual)

Youth lift and Rental combo is $29 ($37 ON HOLIDAYS) and their lesson is included (NO LESSONS ON HOLIDAYS) but you must sign up by the deadline of Tuesday at 8pm each week. The lessons may not be added on later because of the necessity to arrange for instructors.
Adults pay $41 ($49 ON HOLIDAYS WITH NO LESSONS AVAILABLE) for lift, lesson, and rental package when signed up by the deadline each week.

All levels of classes will form outside the upper snow sports office at 10:25 and move out at 10:30. The exceptions will be the privates who will meet inside the office at the available times working around the groups.
Reading is the Ticket (Annual - Spring)
NOTE: You must have an active membership with NIHEA to participate in this program.
Please see eNews for details on signing up! Deadline for completed reading tally sheets is 3/13/18 - SIGNED tally sheets must be turned in WITH a SASE at the March 13th Skate Meeting!
Your student can earn a FREE ADMISSION to Silverwood Theme Park this summer! Every student who completes 10 hours or 600 minutes of recreational reading will earn a ticket good for free admission to Silverwood Theme Park. Tickets earned may only be used by the child who earned them - they are not transferrable to another sibling or parent/adult.
